I mainly use it for TV shows lately, which it's pretty damn awesome for. It sucks that they're so inconsistant when it comes to movies though. Have you seen Rango? That just went up a while ago, so go watch that if you haven't!
That actually made me think of something, where are all of these OP bloodbenders coming from, anyway? Hama's story made it seem like she invented it, and she only taught it to Katara. Katara wasn't in the flashback either so we don't really know what her reaction to all of these shenanigans would be.
Fake realities are never scary. I just don't get the mindset behind this sort of thing.
No fun allowed. But seriously, this would be meaningful if the gameplay they showed had ANY relation to the horror genre. This game is to the originals what Aliens is to Alien. (Not that Alien was particularly scary either, but you know what I mean. >_>)
From: Grand Kirby | #340 Was I the only one thinking about boneitis during the bloodbending scenes? The last one in the flashback definitely made me think of this. I was kinda surprised how brutal it was. >_>
I definitely interested in what the Wii U will provide later down the line, but I don't think I can bring myself to pay $300 to endure a slow stream of releases (again). The 3DS is looking MUCH more promising for the next couple of years, so I'll probably just get my Nintendo fix from that for now. >_>
Yikes, this movie has gotten some absolutely VENOMOUS reactions from a lot of folks I've heard from. I thought it was pretty darn good! Certainly not "all time greats" area, but it was (probably) better than Alien and not that far behind Aliens. The biggest problem it had was that I couldn't be buggered to care about any of the characters besides David, who I'm not entirely certain I was meant to care for. >_>
I seriously wish that you could add games from these bundles that you already own to your Steam inventory. I'd probably pay the 8 dollars just for the INSANE trading potential along with the couple of games I don't own. >_>
It kinda sucks that I've already got every game in here except the Sword & Sorcery game and Lone Survivor, because this is THE BEST bundle they've ever made by a long shot. If you're missing like any three of these games (save for the two I listed, I guess) you'd be CRAZY not to pick this up.
From: Dark Young Link | #239 Wait.. why is ****wad ok to say but dick itself censored? Maybe he said the variation that is synonymous for a rooster? It's banned on here too!
From: Helba QotD | #230 I wonder what kind of numbers GiTS pulls in. I can't think of show that drives me away from this block faster. Well, no I can. Wolfs Rain and Kikaider. Those were both garbage too. Holy crap, GitS hate? EWW.
I can't imagine enjoying Umineko more than I did as a mystery fan. You get an actual mystery to try to solve along with some pretty interesting commentary on the genre through all of the fantasy stuff. Tag for sure, this'll be interesting!
Haha, holy crap. That trailer was pretty bad. The game itself looks INCREDIBLE though. Platinum seems to be the only lot left in the business that understands what an action game should be like, so I'm seriously looking forward to this.
Damn son, HYPE. LoS itself wasn't THE BEST, although it was pretty enjoyable. The ending, on the other hand, set up for what could be one of the best sequels ever, and this trailer's off to a good start!
If anyone can make this game work, it'd be Netherrealm. I totally trust them after how amazing MK9 turned out to be. Still waiting to see more before I get hyped, but this is definitely intriguing.
Anybody happen to check it out yet? I'm busy today but this game looks all kinds of off-the-wall awesome. If you're not in the know, it's basically a crazy God Hand-esque sort of beat em up game, with a crapton of characters including returning characters from other Platinum games, like Jack from Madworld, Bayonetta, and supposedly Sam Gideon from Vanquish. Latest trailer: Bayonetta trailer:
Damn, that is an AMAZING bundle. Too bad I own the entire thing already except for Superbrothers. Anybody who doesn't have any two of the rest of this bundle would do well to buy it. >_>
But yeah, GW2 definitely instills a sense of teamwork more than any other MMO. Usually in these type of games seeing another player is a "oh crap, better get what I need to do done" sort of thing. In GW2, you're always happy to have the help with what you're doing.
